Welcome-
I have meditated and journeyed for the better part of a month in preparation for beginning this blog. As always, I pray for inspiration before humbly relaying on my desire and perspiration to begin a project.
I have been a shamanic practitioner for 25 years and often find myself re-telling the same information. I am sick of hearing my own stories. I would much rather hear someone else's stories in this wonderful growing community.
I am not an anthropologist or a scientist. I am a healer, artist, writer, adventurer, athlete, and chameleon. I say a thank you to all my teachers and apologize for all my spelling mistakes.
I invite you to read, reach to and/or add to the information in any of these categories.
Sections include:
1. "Letters to a Young Shaman" - information to help people develop their interest in shamanism.
2. Life Altering Initiations and Adventures - This section starts with a serialized report of an initiation I had in Nepal some years ago (leeches and all!!!).
3. Resources - Learn more about shamanism and reach practitioners in your area.
4. Ethics - with power comes responsibility.
I welcome your suggestions. Any circle of healers is strengthened by community.
